ABBEY, John (c.1841-1918) – lecturer
C.E.T.S. Norwich Branch – organiser
“The Diocesan Secretary paid his first visit to this parish on Friday, November 4th, when a fairly well-attended meeting was held in the Rectory Barn. The Rector, the Rev. C.W. Holbrook presided. Mr. Abbey gave one of his popular lectures, illustrated by lime-light views. The Chairman thanked Mr. Abbey for his interesting and instructive lecture. It is hoped that a Branch of the CETS will shortly be established in the parish.”
