ABBEY, John (c.1841-1918) – lecturer
C.E.T.S. Norwich Branch – organiser
“A well-attended meeting was held in this parish on September 30th. The Rev. J.R.Baldwin presided. Mr. Abbey gave the address, which he illustrated by lime-light views. Mr. W.Smith, secretary of the Branch, and head-master of the Board School in the parish, said that 50 persons joined the Society after Mr. Abbey's last visit, and he was convinced that the work was well calculated to do much good in the parish. The collection was given in aid of the Diocesan fund.”
