ABBEY, John (c.1841-1918) – lecturer
C.E.T.S. Norwich Branch – organiser
“Mr. Abbey visited this parish on Tuesday last, and at 4 o'clock addressed the scholars in the School, and at 7:30 gave one of his interesting limelight lectures. The School was crowded to the doors. Several names wee added to the roll. The respected Vicar, the Rev. N. Wilson, was not able to preside, through indisposition, so Mr. Abbay took his place. The collection was given in aid of the Diocesan Branch.”
