VALE, R. (fl. 1890s) – lecturer
C.E.T.S. St Albans Branch – organiser
“The last Lecture vwas given on December 29th by Mr. R. Vale, who spoke on 'tea-pots, and what we put in them,' the chair on this occasion being taken by Mr. F.J. Goodway, late Hon. Secretary of the St. Jude's, New Cross, band of Hope. He also contributed to the evening's amusement by singing 'The Crusader' and 'Holy City'. This lecture as well as the proceeding ones, was illustrated with lantern views, which are a great help in active Temperance work, and makes the meeting very attractive to the young.”
