C.E.T.S. Diocese of Rochester Branch – organiser
“Mr. E. Brodie Hoare, M.P. for Hampstead, delivered an interesting lecture, entitled, 'A Voyage Round the World,' illustrated by dissolving views, at the meeting on April 4th, of the St. John's Branch. In the course of his lecture Mr. Hoare, referring to New Zealand, said that there was any amount of room there for sober, industrious men who did not mind roughing it.”
