“Stevenston - On Monday night of last week a lime-light and cinematograph exhibition was given in the Parish Church in connection with the Sabbath School. The first part of the programme was a series of sixty views by lime-light, illustrating the progress of the country under Queen Victoria, and as each picture wasa displayed on the screen, Rev. Mr. Kyd made a few short and appropriate remarks. Much interest was shown in the display of living pictures by the cinematograph. During the intervals Mr. Adams, organist, gave some suitable selections. ”
