“Folkestone - Congregational Sunday School, Black Bull Branch - Black Bull is one o the four branch schools connected with the Rev. A. J. Palmer church. The New Year's treat was held on Wednesday, Jan, 17th, when over 150 scholars sat down to a good tea. They afterwards enjoyed an hour's romp, followed by an excellent magic lantern show, managed by Mr. Unwin, who kindly lent the lantern and a series of interesting local views. The beautiful slides of the 'Family Picture Book' supplied by the S.S.U., were highly appreciated.”
