“Islington - St. Andrew's Sunday School, Thornhill-square - The annual distribution of prizes to the scholars of the school took place on Monday, March 10th, at st. Andrew's Hall, when a very interesting lecture entitled 'Our English BIble' was given by the vicar, the Rev. A. J. Bridgman, M. A. illustrated by dissolving views. The prizes, consisting of books, were the gift by the superintendent. Mr. W. Adams. Ath the close of the proceedings a vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. J. Edmunds (Sunday School Union) and others. A collection was made in behalf of the school .”
