“Lyndhurst. - The scholars of the Baptist Chapel Day and Sunday School have recently had their winter treat. A bountiful tea was provided, to which the mothers were also invited, after which, prayer having been offered by Mr. Martin, an appropriate address was delivered by the Rev. W. H. Payne, and lantern views, 'A Peep behind the Scenes,' exhibited by Mr. F. G. Short, the pastor taking the connective readings.”
