“Peckham. - Gordon-road Sunday School. - On Tuesday evening week, the service of song, 'Elijah,' illustrated by dissolving views, was given in the above school by the Collingwood-street Mission Choir, numering thirty, and conducted by Mr. R. Pearce, for the benefit of the Pure Literature Society connected with this school. Rev. J. G. Young, pastor of Collingwood-street Mission, presided.”
