“Mortlake. - Sheen Vale Sunday School. - A very interesting meeting was held on Thursday, Jan. 31st, in the British Schools, there being about 250 children and friends present to a dissolving view lecture entitled, 'A Peep at our China Missions.' The lantern and views were kindly lent by the London Missionary Society; the Rev. F. Brown explained the pictures as they were thrown upon the sheet, and also showed some interesting Chinese curios.”
