“Sheerness on Sea. - Wesleyan Sunday School. - The annual soirees were successfully observed on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, Jan 22nd and 23rd, tea being provided by the teachers for adult friends and scholars respectively. After tea, dissolving views, illustrating 'The Spanish Armada,' and 'London Labour and London Poor,' were shown, the descriptive lectures being given by Mr. W. G. Tutt (superintendent).”
