“Alma-road Congregational Sunday School. - The annual soiree was in connection with the above school was held on Feb 14th, when there was a good company of adult friends present to tea. On Feb. 15th and 16th the scholars soiree was held, tea being provided for them by their techers, and, after tea, dissolving views, illustrating a 'Trip to Niagara and back,' being given, the superintendents (Messrs. Fletcher and Spears, jun.) giving the descriptive lectures.”
