“Epsom. - Congregational Sunday School. - Winter treat was given on Thursday, Feb. 2nd, when 500 scholars partook of a good tea, and were afterwards entertained with dissolving views, illustrating 'Egypt and the Nile,' the lecture being delivered by Mr. G. Snashall, one of the teachers. Immediately preceding the entertainmetn 72 Missionary Society books were presented ot the scholars who had collected 5s. each. The total amount realised by 93 cards was L28 9s 9d.”
