“Kennington Sunday School. - On Wednesday evening, Dec. 29th, a Christmas treat was given to the infant classes of the above school. After a plentiful tea, Mr. Bacon gave a magic lantern entertainment, and the members of the girls' senior class (president, Mrs. Street) presented 89 of the children with warm wraps, petticoats, knitted stockings &c. made by themselves in their leisure time. On leaving every child received an orange and a packet of sweets. ”
