“Croscombe, Somerset. - A social tea and dissolving view entertainment was held on Jan. 5th in connection with the young people's services now being held on Sunday afternoons in the Baptist Chapel, conducted by Mr. Alfred Baker, of Wells. The lanterns, slides, &c. were kindly lent by Mr. W. Vonberg, and exhibited by Messrs. Steward and Knight. Among other subjects on view were Cruikshank's 'Drunkard's Progress,' and 'The Tale of the Bottle.'
