“Hull. - Free Tea for Poor Children. - On Jan. 11th a free tea was given to 250 poor children in Bethel Methodist New Connexion School. The tea was got up by Miss Bell's Bible class No 2, assisted by Mr. Mawer and several of Mrs. Mawers class. A substantial meal was greatly enjoyed by the hungry children gathered together, and then a series of interesting magic lantern views was exhibited by Mr. J. C. Stovey.
