Reference
‘Temperance’ in Sunday School Chronicle

“Crichester. - Excelsior Band of Hope. - At the annual meeting held at St. Martin's school-room, under the presidency of Rev. Lloyd Jenkins, tea was provided for all the members, and after tea a magic lantern entertainment was given, to the great delight of the juvenile audience and their friends. The report was very cheering, showing that the temperance branch of the school work is in flourishing condition.”
