“New Street Mission Sunday School - [...] On Wednesday, Dec 2nd, a special entertainment for the children was held in the hall, when Mr. H. Case delivered an interesting lecture on 'Luther,' illustrated by lime light views given by Mr. A. Dennis. A selected choir, under the conductoship of Mr. E. Short, sang at intervals during the course of the evening. At this service the scholars were invited to hand in tot the secretary papers written upon the subject, and several prizes were offered for the best.”
