“Tunbridge Wells - The members of the Vale Royal (Wesleyan) Chapel Branch of the Juvenile Missionary Association were entertained to a tea in the Camden Assembly-room, on Tuesday week, by the secretary of the branch (Miss Jessie Spencer). Mr. J. B. Ward, the superintendent of the Sunday School; Miss Jackson, Mrs. Wells, Mr. C. Wells and others, took part in the after meeting. In connection with the Band of Hope, an entertainment of dissolving views was given in the school-room attached to the chapel, on Wednesday evening week, by Mr. A. W. Pierson. The readings were given by Mr. A. K. Baldwin.”
