“Paddington Chapel Sunday Schools - A meeting of the members of this branch of the Bible Reading Association was held in Paddington Chapel School-room, on Tuesday evening, March 25th. Tea was provided for members, after which a lecture, entitled 'Our English Bible,' illustrated by numerous dissolving views, was delivered by Mr. H. G. Holmes, to an audience of nearly 200. The meeting was eminenty sucessful, and its influence will, no doubt, be greatly to encourage the regular and consecutive study of the sacred volume.”
