“Penrith - On Monday, Jan. 14th, the Duke-street Congregational Band of Hope re-asembled after the Christmas recess, opening the session with an entertainment consisting of vocal and instrumental music, and an oxy-hydrogen lantern exhibition, given by the Rev. J. H. Ouston, and on Friday, Jan. 18th, Mr. Ouston showed his lantern at the National School at a similar entertainment, under the presidency of the vicar.”
