SUMMERFIELD, Mr (fl. 1880s) – lecturer
“Camberwell New Road - Charles - Street - On Thursday evening, March 1st, a dissolving view entertainment, consisting of the Sunday School Union set of slides, 'Boys and girls of England,' with a number of others belonging to the exhibitor, was given to the scholars of this school. The views were exhibited by Mr. S. R. Rolfe, grand superintendent of the Juvenile Templars, from his own lanterns; and the superintendent of the school, Mr. Summerfield, gave a running comment upon the pictures as they appeared. The school-room was full of children.”
