“Chelsea Chapel. Lower Sloane-street - On Tuesday, Jan. 30th, the teachers and scholars assembled for tea, after which a public meeting was held, presided over by the pastor, when a lantern lecture on the History of the Bible was given by Mr. A. J. Edwards, and the annual prizes for attendance and good conduct, consisting of fifty-seven large and handsome books, were distributed by the superintendent, Mr. W. Stegall.”
