“Towcester - On Monday, February 9th, an entertainment took place in the Baptist Chapel at 5 o'clock. The whole of the scholars attending the Sunday Schools had tea in the school-room, and at 7 o'clock there was an exhibition of views illustration scenes in the Polar seas, &c., shown by a powerful magic lantern. Solos and choruses were given during the evening. The lantern was lent by the Blisworth Local Sunday School Union, and was under the superintendence of Rev. W. J. Mills, of Blisworth.”
