“Redhill Congregational School - On Tuesday, December 30th, the parents' annual tea was held in the [Text nicht lesbar] winter treat took place Friday previous. The treat commenced with a five o'clock tea, and from six to half-past seven the children were amused by a magic lantern, illustrating, with many slides, the Travels of Gulliver; the Rev. W. H. Stent explained each picture as it appeared. Certificates, and some sixty prizes, were then awarded, followed by the distribution of toys to the infants.”
