“Lower Norwood District. - The Institute. - On Tuesday, Feb.6, a lecture was given at the above hall, by ;r. George B. Chapman, on 'America', and was illustrated with a panorama, consisting of twenty-eight coloured transparencies. Mr. J. W. Hobbes presided and Mr. Monk, with a choir of the Sunday School cihldren, gave three pieces of music during the evening. A vote to thanks to the lecturer, chairman, and choir, terminated the evening's entertainment.”
