“Acton - On Wednesday, January 3rd, B.B. Malden, Esq., of the Royal Polytechnic Institution, gave a very interesting and instructive lecture, entiteld 'A Visit to America and the Philadelphia Exhibition, 'illustrated by splendid dioramic dissolving views, in the Baptist Chapel, Church-road, to the scholars, etc., connected with the Sunday School. The attendance was very large, and the evening's entertainment was thoroughly enjoyed by the young people and their friends.”
