“Keighley - New Congregational S. S. - On Wednesday, February 6, an exhibition in connection with the Congregational new schools recently erected was opened by Mr. B. S. Brigg, chairman of the Local Board of Health and teacher of the Senior Young Men's Class. Among those present were Mrs. B. S. Brigg, Mr. and Mrs. John Brigg, Mrs. John and Miss Craven (Steeton Hall), the Rev. A. B. Morris, Mr. W. S. B. M'Laren, M. A., etc., etc. The exhibition was arranged by the member's of the Young Men's Class, the primary object being to obtain money towards the debt on the building. The walls were hung with oil paintings, some of great value, while down the sides of the room were shown [...] Besides these arrangements were made for several amusing shows. [...] On Thursday, the Rev. A. B. Morris (pastor), exhibited a number of views by the aid of a powerful lantern. ”
