WYBROO, G.S. (c.1833-1918) – lecturer
“New Cross - Zion Chapel - The children of the above school who were too young to be taken, on the annual excursion, to Edith Gardens in July last were entertained at tea by their teachers on the 7th inst., to the number of nearly fifty; after which a dissolving-view entertainment was given to the scholars generally and their friends by Mr. G. S. Wybroo, entitled 'The Picture Gallery,' comprising a series of well-executed views of scenes at home and abroad. A small charge was made to the elder scholars, and a collection among the friends at the close, which resulted in a total sum of 4p 11s, 1d, being raised on behalf of the West Greenwich Poor Children's Weekly Dinner Fund.”
