Tea was provided at six o'clock. A public meeting was held at seven o'clock, at which the rev. J. Brown, B. A., presided. After prayer by Mr. H. A magic lantern, with views illustrative of the life of Moses, was exhibited by Mr. James Atkins, the views being explained by Mr. G. Carruthers. Short addresses were afterwards given by Mr. Pack, Mr. Atkins, and the chairman. During the evening a number of suitable pieces of music were sung.”
