“Elstow, Beds - An entertainment consisting of a series of dissolving views illustrative of the Prince of Wales's visit to India, together with Scripture scenes, Bunyan's cottage, the Bunyan statue, Elstow Church, &c., was given to the scholars of the Sunday School, in this village, a branch school in connection with Bunyan Meeting, Bedford, Mr. W. J. Robinson, the superintendent, in the chair. The views were shown by Mr. E. A. Anthony. During the evening a selection of music was given; Mr. Jackson presiding at the harmonium. The room was well filled and the evening greatly enjoyed by the children and their parents, many of the latter being also present. ”
