“Easthouse Sunday School - The children of the schools comprising the Union met at the Congregational Church, on Thursday evening, Feb. 24th, to witness a dissolving view entertainment, given by the Messrs. Adams of this town, the first subject being Madagascar and its people, the descriptive lecture being read by Mr. J. J. Sanders. The second subject was 'Little Meg's children; or Alone in London'. Mr. Fisher explained the pictures. The concluding part was 'Jessica's First Prayer' and the whole was highly successful.”
