“Lambeth Auxiliary - The last series of the lectures to senior scholars was given by J. A. Smith, Esq, in the Walworth-road schoolroom, on April 14th. The subject was 'The Lifeboat and its Work', illustrated with dissolving views. There was a large attendance, the room being quite filled, and the lecture appeared to be highly appreciated.”
