‘Temperance’ in Sunday School Chronicle

“Surrey Chapel - The work of the Band of the Hope Union has been carried on with earnestness during the month of November. Every Friday between between 250 and 300 children have been present, and many new recruits have been added to the band. The Senior Band of Hope has also continued to meet in good numbers. On the 20th, the two meetings were joined into one, when Mr. Alfred G. Glasspool delivered a lecture on 'Franklin and the Arctic Regions' illustrated with dissolving views from the Band of Hope Union. The meeting was great success.”
