Irvine Sabbath School Union – organiser
“Irvine - A Meeting of this Union was held in Fullerton U. F. Church on the 19th January, when a lecture on the 'Holy Land' with lime-light illustrations was given by William Couper Tait, Esq., F. S. R. G. S. Glasgow. Starting at Bethlehem, Mr. Tait traced Christ's journey northward in graphic story, and with many happy illustrations, riveted the attention of all present right to the close. The Rev. Mr. Wishart conveyed thanks of the Union to Mr. Tait for his admirable address.”
