“Roupell Park - The Committee of the United Kingdom Band of Hope Union has been directing its attention to the charitable institutions of the metropolis. During March thirty-five lectures, embodying direct temperance teaching, and illustrated by beautiful dissolving views, were deliverd to the inmates of orphan asylums, training ships, refuges, workhouse schools, and kindred institutions in and around London, with very gratifying results. Some interesting details are given in the Band of Hope Chronicle for April. ”
