“Quiet Because Interested - The Band of Hope of St. John's Park, Sheffield, have had a very prosperous season. A great feature of the work has been a series of Lantern Lectures, which have been very much appreciated and the resulst very encouraging. On Whit-Wednesday the Annual Excursion was held. The trip to Cleethorpe was most successful, about sixty-five children and twenty-four workers and friends beinf present, and everybody had a most enjoyable time. The prosperity of the work is due to Capt. Nash and his band of workers, who have made the Meetings very interesting to the children. A Worker. ”
