MCCARTNEY, Captain (fl. 1900s-10s) – lecturer
Church Army Liverpool Van – organiser
“Earnest Encouragers - The visit to Crabtree Mission of the Liverpool C.A. Van, with Capt. McCartney and Cadet Norris, has come and gone. During their short visit we had good times, and we believe much good has been done. The Meetings were well attended, especially the Lantern and Sunday Services. The addresses from the Captain and Cadet Norris were most earnest and encouraging. The Farewell we had as a Thanksgiving Service, when the Captain gave a very helpful address from the Thirty First Psalm. The Van has gone to the Parish of Crank, and our prayers go out with them that God will bless them and supply all their need. One, for Capt. McCartney”
