“Nelson, St. John's - On March 11 we had a very good service in our mission room when our Captain presented the red and white cord to nine converts, and addresses were given by our curate, the Rev. G. Tomlinson (...). On Easter Sunday we had a special service at night in our hall, which was comfortably filled. The subject chosen was the 'Story of the Cross' which was illustrastrated by lime-light views. For CAPT. GRUMMET”
