Reference

“'Three Days Scouting': The C.A. Van, with Capt. Graham and Cadet Richardson, arrived here recently (...). For three days, Capt. Graham and his collegue visited every house in the village. On Sunday the opening service was held on one of the large rooms of the National school, where the captain gave a stirring address and welcome to the people. The lantern services were especially well attended during the entire mission, which lasted three weeks. The excellent pictures, especially those of the 'Life of Christ' brought home to those assembled very forcibly what the Saviour had done for them.”
