“'Through Four Feet of Snow': A service of song, illustrated by splendid lantern views, entitled 'Crown after Cross', was rendered by the Cyril Street C.A. Choir, and in spite of very deep snow the people began to crowd in the mission room as soon as the door was open, and by 7.30 the room was filled to excess. (...) The lantern views were exhibited by Mr. Sharrett, and the vicar read the connective readings, while Capt. Powell conducted the choir. The audience listened most attentively to the pathetic story, and everyone seemed to have an enjoyable evening (...)”
