“'The Welshman in Action': During a recent fortnight, a Pioneer Mission has been held in the mission room, Hodson Street conducted by Capt. Rowlands, Church Army pioneer missioner for Manchesteer and Salford. The services were held every evening except Fridays, and were preceded by open-air meetings in various parts of this parish. On Wednesday, lantern services were held for children, and on Saturdays lantern services for adults. (...)”
