“'Rock v. Quicksands': The C.A. Van with Capt. Robinson and Brother Green has lately paid a visit to this parish (...). The mission church in which the services were held was packed nightly (...). The lantern services were most helpful. Capt. Thirlwell came down from London during the mission and gave a very able lecture on the 'Church Army'. (...)”
