“'The Dumb Preacher': The Peterborough Van I (in charge of Capt. Britten and Brother Bright) which has just concluded a ten days' mission in this parish, has, we hope, proved a blessing to many. (...) On Good Friday we had a most beautiful and solemn lantern service, illustrating the 'Passion of Christ'. The pictures were explained in such a simple manner that even the children could understand. (...)”
