“'About Eggs and Penny Meters': March 17th, Capt. Davey paid us a visit, he gave us a limelight lecture on C.A. Work amongst convicts. As we gazed upon the pictures, the thought came into one' mind that even more people were prisoners of the devil. After paying expenses we were able to hand over to Capt. Davey ₤1 for prison work. Good Friday evening our mission room was packed to the door, we had a Lantern Service bearing upon the death of our dear Lord (...)”
