RAMC Field Club – organiser
“A very successful meeting of the Society was held in the College Lecture Room on Saturday evening. There was a good attendance of members and several interesting contributions were brought forward. The Principal (Mr A.W. Clayden, M.A.), read an admirable paper on 'Cloud Altitudes in Devon,' giving a description of his original observations made in the neighbourhood of Exeter and extending over a period of six summers. [description of lecture content follows].
The paper was illustrated by apparatus and a number of beautiful lantern slides.
[followed by an account of another paper by J. Stevens - see Lucerna ID 7005322].
”This was the first of three papers given at an evening meeting of the RAMC Field Club.
