“'Well Done Drums and Fifes': At the invitation of Capt.Alf Smith, I gladly availed myself of the opportunity of taking a few meetings here. Twelve months ago Capt. Price with a C.A Van started an excellent work in this parish, which a few months afterwards was followed up by Capt. Smith. It seemed marvellous to me the way in which he has got in touch with people. (...) At Friday night lantern service there were 200 people present, on Saturday again a good congregation.”
