“'The Great Necessity': The Exeter II C.A Mission Van under the command of Capt. Battershill, has just been with us. The services in the schoolroom were bright and hearty. Few could listen to the earnest gospel appeals of these young sevansts of Christ without feeling the necessity of a change of heart. The lantern lectures 'the torn Bible' and 'Life of Christ' were also most interesting and instructive, and listened to by crowded congregations. The pictures were exceedingly good. (...)”
