“'In the Cathedral's Shadow': Capt. Britten and Bro. Shipton have completed a most successful fortnight's Van mission. Great interest has been taken in the lantern lectures by large numbers of people, the room at many of the services being crowded. A special feature of the mission was the open-air service which were held on Saturday and Sunday evenings before the mission services, and which were attended by very large numbers. (...).”
